Para Concluir...

Quick facts about my 4 ½ month trip through South America:

19 different cities: Bogota, Villa de Leiva, San Gil, Barrichara, Medellin, Cartagena, Taganga, Tayrona, Lima, Arequipa, Cusco, Aguas Calientes, La Paz, Mendoza, Buenos Aires, Puerto Iguazu, Rio de Janeiro, Ihla Grande, Natal

5 different countries:
Colombia

Peru

Bolivia

Argentina

Brazil

3 oceans: 

Carribean

Pacific

Atlantic
8 different climates 

19 total flights

4 6:00 am flights (where I had to wake up at 3:30am to catch them)

3 overnight bus rides (Arequipa to Cusco, Cusco to La Paz, Mendoza to Buenos Aires)

3 of these occasions:

Isla del Piarata, Cartagena, Colombia

Iguazu Falls, Argentina

Natal, Brazil

 
1 hospital visit

1 pair of wrecked converse 

Before...

...After (the only pair of shoes I had with me in SA besides my hiking boots, and flip-flops)

2 t-shirts, 1 bag of American cash (~$50),1 bath mit, and 1 months worth of prescription medication were lost along the way.

0 is the number of times I got robbed or mugged.
5 times, I was asked if I was Brazilian (outside of Brazil). 

∞ amount of times I heard Lady Gaga.  She was popular in every country and in every city I visited.

5 inches is the length of the beard my boyfriend grew while I was gone:



I cut it off, and now...
